about us

Vedic Holdings is a privately held company that defines itself by the highest standards of business performance. Our ability to produce profitable results is exceeded only by our constant efforts to build upon our valued reputation of ethical and responsible business practices. Vedic Holdings’ projects are structured with the goal to provide all stakeholders with equitable returns that meet or exceed their expectations.

Vedic Holdings is owned and managed by Nicholas DeSanctis. For over fifteen years, Mr. DeSanctis has been a successful commercial & residential developer and real estate finance professional.

In 1996, he partnered with the founders of Bryn Mawr Mortgage Group (BMMG), a residential and commercial lending brokerage company. Mr. DeSanctis eventually began investing in residential properties and, in 2001, he acquired a multi-million dollar residential portfolio which specifically filled the high demands of Villanova University’s off-campus housing needs. This under-valued niche portfolio, which required substantial capital in rehab along with a new marketing strategy to reposition the asset, was eventually sold in 2006. The asset produced high yielding returns.

Mr. DeSanctis eventually began investing in residential properties and, in 2001, he acquired a multi-million dollar residential portfolio which specifically filled the high demands of Villanova University’s off-campus housing needs. This under-valued niche portfolio, which required $500,000 in rehab along with a new marketing strategy to reposition the asset, was eventually sold in 2006. The asset produced a 280% IRR and a 12x equity multiple.

Having been successful in his first several ventures, Mr. DeSanctis has decided to focus exclusively on commercial real estate under his company, Vedic Holdings, LLC, which is a vertically integrated company owning, developing, leasing, and managing property in the region. He has raised multiple rounds of equity capital to fund the acquisition of undervalued or re-development of commercial real estate.

Mr. DeSanctis is currently in the process of expanding Vedic Holdings to become a well- established Development Company in the mid-Atlantic region by acquiring or developing three million square feet of commercial real estate.
